Personally I have always preferred AMD, can't wait to get my hands on one of those puppies (though it will be quite a while before I can get one). Fun stuff :) :)

Ive always been a AMD fan, you know cheer for the underdog lol, but i think that this will be a big kick in the pants for intell, i know i would love to get one, but alass, need money for that :oops: oh well, life is first 8)

Phenom II's released. 920 & 940. Have already purchased new mobo for server upgrade & 940 @3.0Ghz looks good. @£233.00 for the 940 Black Edition, will have to wait for the outcome of the court case before I can start juggling my budget. However, it sure beats £921.00 for the i7 965.

I'm sorely tempted by the new AM3 Phenom II 955Be (3.2Ghz) & MSI's AMD mobo - MSI 790FX-GD70, but at £206 & £170 respectively, I'll think I'll wait until they drop by at least £50 each - £250 for both is about right :lol:
