Hi all,

Thanks to Pawly, I was more like re-recruited. I am original from Denmark, which is probably best known for The Little Mermaid and storyteller H.C. Andersen.
I am happily married 29 years to a Swedish Canucks fan from the hockey-crazed town of Örnsköldsvik (pronounced Earn'sholds'veek). We reside in a small seaside Village south of Vancouver, BC.

When I started running SETI in 1999, little did I know, till 2001, I was running it under my son's account!
SETI was first introduced to an IBM clone running 'Windows 95'. Then it got a new home on a DELL Pentium II with Windows ME preinstalled... ..my worst nightmare. After months of PC hell, I installed Windows XP which was a much improved and stable OS. However, my PC wasn't at all happy running XP, so I was forced to streamline and dump a bunch of ad-ons including SETI. Which brings me pretty much up to date. Except to say, I'm now a HAPPY iMac fan who had forgotten all about SETI until Pauly re-recruited me.

He must have a thing for people from BC this week. I just got recruited and live on Vancouver Island.

Welcome Back to the fold, Swedane! You have company in WildRose3, also returning from a long absence. Looks like some of my emails are getting thru to those who have either been disenchanted or lost interest in SETI and BOINC. Fantastic!
