I just heard on the radio that we're going to be getting another 60-80 more cm of snow here in Ottawa this week. Breaking the all time snow fall record set in 1971. (we're only 8cm off the record right now).
So I ask, does anyone have a snowblower they don't want? I can foresee a sore back this week with all the shoveling.
I wonder if we could somehow create a new distributed computing project that would shovel my driveway.... just maybe with all that computing power combined...

That's probably quite doable. You could run water under your drivewway and hook it up to a quad or two or many. You could probably do a good job heating the whole house with the same system. Throw in a solar heater or ten and you might end up with a self contained crunching/heating/snow removal system :D

Now if only I could afford a couple of quads to perform the snow removal. Any donations? anyone? .. hello... o..oo...
:? I wonder which is cheaper, enough quads to heat the driveway or a snowblower.. hmm. Cost benefit analysis time!
