Chess Challenges

My record on chess.com is getting kind of embarassing. I'm currently 16-0-1 with an 1818 rating. I started at 1200. It will end soon though. One guy has me on the ropes http://www.chess.com/echess/game.html?id=8433659 and I'm starting one and maybe two tournaments Sep 1st. I haven't guaged where my rating should be yet. I've reached 1900 and played around 1800 in real life which I'm sure is much stronger than the same on these sites. We'll see. I think I'll be sticking with it for the long haul.

You think that's bad? I haven't won a game yet. Used to play regularly with my ex & friends, but as Andrea doesn't know how to play, have not really played a good game in 10 years!

No problem, Red. It's all helpng to rid the frustation here & forcing me to stop, think then act. I do miss having a regular chess partner. We used to have our neighbours in a couple of weekends a month for dinner. Afterwards the girls would wander off & chat, myself & Mike used to have a few bevys & play some mean games.

At letsplaychess I'm Ominator, but I can't figure out how to find people.

Timmy and I are playing at chess.com I find it a much easier site to use. Very friendlyand lots of members. More features for non-paying users.

Sorry for going AWOL I am back in college and my laptop has died, borrowed my bros really slow 486 laptop, it takes 10 mins to boot up.

I got wrapped up in chess.com and having a ball but am getting my butt kicked big time as RedMenace will testify
