I was cruising through the forum and noticed that there doesn't seem to be a section for TV junkies. So, I'm starting a thread. Let's get this rolling- what's your favorite stuff? As a confirmed TV Junkie- my list is quite plentiful so I'll start things with a brief part- not in any specific order but I'd say these are part of my top 50 list.

Since the advent of the DVD- it's been a lot easier to flash back to the oldies- they may not be in production any more BUT they're still on my list.

NCIS
Law and Order
Law and Order: CI
Law and Order: SVU
CSI (the Grissom years)
Battlestar Galactica ( both )
Star Trek DS9
Star Trek Voyager
Eureka!
Stargate SG1
Stargate Atlantis
Flashpoint
Divine Design
Heartland
The Boarder
Being Erica
MutantX
Terminator: TSCC
Charmed
Buck Rogers in 25th C
A-Team
X-Files
Highlander
Highlander: Raven
Andromeda
The Young & The Restless
Captain Power & TSoTF

That's just a partial list... I actually have an Excel file that lists my favorite shows- hoping to some day buy them.
I am not ashamed to admit this- I actually squealed with delight when I discovered Captain Power online for purchase. And I don't squeal.

I could watch that show over and over- and see something that I never noticed before. Plus- it's my all time favorite- # 1 show.

Thanks for the welcome Zappdog

I'm hardly ever off my computer long enough to watch TV, but from the shows my wife watches and the shows I used to watch, I'd have to list the following (in no real order):

Simpsons (pre season 14 are better than the newer ones)
Family Guy
House M.D.
Dialy Planet (used to watch this every day - not so much now)
Myth Busters
BBC News
Occassionally CSI or Without a Trace, but only if my wife is watching them

I also used to be a major Trekkie, but I've seen them all soooo many times now I don't bother anymore. I also was a total X-Files fan back in the day.

Typically if I'm up late (which is quite often) I tend to watch the least intolerable of the multitude of crappy movies my cable service provides, or, when all else fails, I'll watch whatever junk is on Discovery channel. A lot of times I just turn the TV off and read - just finished The Star Diaries (Stanislaw Lem) (Futurama got a few episode ideas from here) and Watership Down (Richard Adams) (yet again - I really like this book for some reason...) and am currently in the middle of the Fionavar Tapestry as a friend decided I should read it and I didn't have anything in my reading pile to keep me busy (he's also responsible for The Star Diaries).
