OK , so i decided to have a go at making the POTM voting thread this month. :| Much harder than one would imagine. We can't of run it recently and the project must have enough work available. Finding 4 was a pain! lol GRIZZ WHERE ARE YOU BUDDY!

Wow! Einstein has the early lead with 5 votes already. I'm bowing out of this one as I really want to reach my 100,000 mark on a few "less popular" projects (i.e. smaller projects with crappy credits!). Still trying to reach 500k on POEM as well...

Just got my 100,000 credits at Docking@home so I think I'll go with the POTM and Einstein this time.

Docking is one of those that are still on my 100k hit list. For some reason I never seem to be able to commit to it. I was full on board a year ago but then it ran out of work for a while and I never got back into it when it started up again. Maybe I'll switch to it again after I finish off with GeneticLife and AIS...

I think they're running a new app now, "S5R5 3.01". I don't know much about the science.

(my sempron just hangs with it tho, thats why its a manual install like the optimised seti apps)

Found the Phenom II 940 a little bit too expensive for my taste, so purchased a 9600Be & a 9950BE for little more than the cost of a 940. server upgrade went ok & now running 4 Einstein. However, the 9600 is struggling to install Windows 7(beta). Will install Vista Ultimate(64) instead & try out Win7 on a seperate partition - Does anyone know whether or not Boinc will run ok under win7?

I ran it successfully for a little while under Hyper-V until I did a few too any "tests" on it and broke it (unbootable install)! Of course my tests were kind of geared towards seeing how much I could screw around with the install until it broke, so I guess I got what I deserved. Bottom line is that you shouldn't have any real issues with most projects running on Win7.
