Hello from the deep south land.

I'm a great fan of the Canadians and your great country.
I've joined your forum so I can discuss BOINCing with you guys.

I've been BOINCing for 8 years and have 10 million points over several projects.
I have 8 puters with 7 of them running Intel quads.

I live in Canberra which is the nation's capital city.

Looking forward to learning some more stuff from your forums.

Cheers
:-D

Thanks for the welcome guys.

QMC has gone up a few places in the ranking, should be in the top twenty in a few days.
Those big units sure add some credit when they're done.

Yes winter has arrived down here as we pass the sun over the equator for you to enjoy.
We had temps in the 30s C for the last few weeks, now down to the 20s.
In winter Canberra has -6C in the mornings with 10-15C during the days.

Out of curiosity, Rocoll, please tell us why you switched from BOINC@AUSTRALIA to Canada.

Of course, we are pleased that you did. :-D

Well Grizz, the Australian Aborigines have a term for it called 'walkabout'. It's a cleansing of the soul.

I saw that your QMC score could do with a boost. I intend to stay until I've added a million points to your score.
I'm currently ramping up to deliver 100k every 3 days.

The other projects remain with B@A and I'll be returning after my walkabout.
I'd be happy to come back after that on another project if you needed some help?

The team will be in the top twenty with RAC tomorrow. Up from # 36.

Way to go on QMC. We all have goals on our BOINC, and mine was to pass QMC with PS3Grid(in the CANADA rankings), but I think that may have to wait for a while. There is some serious muscle backing those QMC numbers. Congrats. Philzie

I've never looked at PS3Grid so I'm not sure if I can use my linux box on it. If I have the time later, I'll take and if I can, I'll give you a hand. Your doing great also on that project. Keep up the good work.

We should be 7 by RAC in a few days.

I'll have full throttle on QMC tomorrow.

Just placed an order for a Q9450. That should arrive in a few days too.
