Welcome Morgan! I recall leap-frogging you on several programs throughout the last year or so. Glad to see you make an appearance on the forums here!

hey 312 :) seen Ya coming and going, hey Pawly

the machine I stuck the Canada flag to wouldn't do poem, then again it had the same 'permissions' problem to do qmc
    * i tried re-install of the gentoo 2007.1 live cd , still couldn't find its output file
    * i tried ubuntu gutsy 7.1 live cd
    * i tried ubuntu gutsy 8.4 live dvd
    * i tried sabayan 32 bit live cd
    * i tried gentoo 2008.1 live dvd
    * i tried gentoo 2008.1 live cd , and zoom away it went

machine is a sempron 64 3000+
guess maybe after simap i'll move the flag over to my sempron m 3000+ to do ya sztaki 'cuz it has the hard disk required to run windows and the 64 will do more rosetta :twisted:

as far as team hopping goes, all my cobblestones were earned for the team, i don't think it's fair someone above me in my team stats, may have actually scored those cobblestones against my team :(

sempron m 32 bit machine has under half gig, machine with canada flag stuck on it, Sempron 64 ,has 2 Gb no hd and is about to lose its case & pwr :( , to a new dual intel

i had file permission errors 'can't find output file ....' with about 3/4 projects i tried to attach that machine to wihile i was running that gentoo live cd 2007.1 even with many reboots and reloads of boinc new boinc versions , as i always run the latest test versions, thats why i was so suprised when qmc ran on the 5th different os ( after i'd given up and attached a xp machine

my dual core amd on ubuntu is the same way , picky about the mostly same projects

i should check Honza's Chart with that low-ram machine in mind esp. sztaki :oops2: 1 k :lol:

Ya Know the Kubuntu i put on it does all that stuff (ripping tv without the comercials, syncing my cell phone contacts and pics by bluetooth, play movies dvds browse game ..., the ubuntu even has 'firefox' and 'vlc' on their live cd, sure liking these most recent 'nix

on the Canada front i stuffed that sempron 64 into an old cabinet still havnt had the time to get the power supply ,i just tried to do 1 last QMC on this machine ( the cabinet thief) ( ubuntu gutsy 8.04 ( 64 )) :lol: can't find output file ..... & a flashlight.

o ya , right , sorry i digressed a minute there , i was telling a story,.. I lost the browser with all my canada bookmarks ( my only unsync'd browser ) when i went to create a new machine i found out that my most favorite toy is now discontinued , no more google browser sync :x foxmarks, available now only saves the bookmarks :x not the cookies history etc.. they did release the code i wonder how hard that would be to set up as served by one of the machines on my network :idea:
