Hello Canada,

I'm a BOINC user since 2002 starting on seti ... after a pause (3 years), I started again (with a new user name) in 2008. I finally decide to join a team... expecting more chalenges.

Welcome to the team! If you want a friendly challenge - check out the POTM (Project of the Month). We're always up to a little friendly competition!

Hi there! Welcome to the team and boards!!!

You're now part of the most prolific Boinc team in the whole country!

What does "colo" stand for, in your screen name? I'm guessing Colorado, maybe? Could be...

Thank you.

The team seems to be very prolific, I hope to help it to be even more.

Colo come from a french song, "fait dodo colin mon petit frere", and my sister was singing wrong "fait dodo colo mon petit frere"
then I got "colo" as a family surname.

oh, nice story! I know this song, too.

Now, we all know you're a fan of yourself! 8)

So, which projects do you crunch mostly, beside SETI?

Always heard ''Colas'' as well...

Wasn't sure about it, so I thought Colin might be the real name... It's the whole 'French lullaby lyrics contest!'

According to several sites I googled:

''Fais dodo, Colas mon petit frère,
Fais dodo, t'auras du lolo.

Maman est en haut,
Qui fait des gâteaux,
Papa est en bas,
Qui fait du nougat.

Fais dodo, Colas mon petit frère,
Fais dodo, t'auras du lolo.

Si tu fais dodo,
Maman vient bientôt
Si tu ne dors pas,
Papa s'en ira.

Fais dodo, Colas mon petit frère,
Fais dodo, t'auras du lolo.''

:dream:

P.S.: Funny, in Québec, we changed "nougat" for "chocolat".

In fact I left over SETI, and I mostly crunch Climate prediction for a year.
Few weeks ago, I started to focus on Artificial Intelligence System, and Word Community grid but only the clean energy project.

With the team challenge, I may work more on other project...

The Clean Energy Project seems to be a very nice one! I'll crunch some of this when I get my gold badge on Help Fight Childhood Cancer.

May be a good candidate for Project of the month. It's seems to be a very promising project.

Hmm the problem with WCG...it is difficult to see our real statistcs by sub project....
I mean for Project of the month...how to see if the team are well mobilized or not etc... Not very good for stats !
But a really good project !!

I fully agree with you regarding the stats of WCG... may be we can focus on that specific project, and ask them to improve their stats system.
By the way using the web site "my grid" in the BOINC manager allows to see stats by project.
