Hello from the banana belt (hard to tell some days)

Good morning all you BOINC addicts - thought I would start the new year by finally joining a team and what better team to join - I've been looking around for 3 months (since I re-established my software) and this is THE BEST team that I have seen - especially since we are all Canucks !

so far the only one that I crunch is BOINC ... not adverse to running anything else but nothing has tickled my fancy so far Panda :lol:

I know the Banana Belt well. Born and raised in Windsor and spent summers on a farm west of Wallaceburg.

FYI - BOINC is simply the software infrastructure for a variety of projects. Currently I see you're running SETI (the originators of BOINC!), but there are a whole host of other projects that use the BOINC infrastructure as well - everything from prime number crunching, protein folding, games analysis, climate prediction, and many more. If you look on the Home page at the bottom left you'll see a list of current projects that we have a team on. Take a look - there's lots to choose from. If you like space based stuff you can always check out Einstein, Comology, or Milkyway.
