As for torrent programs, won't allow them anywhere near my networks.

I used to use p2p - and I had found a good one. The problem wasn't the site or the fact that my cable provider monitors their connections- the problem was that the p2p I used downloads and uploads files at the same time.

I had had some 'friends over one night, went with one to make a beer run. I didn't even occur to me that my 'friends' were about to screw me over. The next day, I discovered that my cable provider had suspended my service. According to their records a download and upload was made of Transformers 2.

That's how this specific p2p works- after it starts downloading- it uploads the file for sharing. And this is why my service was suspended. The problem is- I was at the grocery store when this happened. To be reactivated I had to search my system for the file and the torrent and remove both- as well as removal of the program. I also had to give my word that I would behave and not download again from torrent sites.

I have behaved myself - and those friendships were severed. I think that it was just one jerk taking advantage of a situation. Since then, I log off when friends come over. And it gives Pilot a break ;)

Hey, no problems! As always, real life takes priority of anything else...good luck re-organizing the chaos into something more manageable!

Good News! The Iowa Volunteer Lawyers group wrangled up a lawyer for me. I meet with her on Nov. 10th. After all of this is squared away- and I have my birth certificate in hand and a new license- I'm getting my frakking passport. I'm not taking any further chances. Beisides, there's a few places outside the U.S. that I'd love to travel too.

Well, Jessica Steen may not have received the award- but at least it went to some one who is as equally deserving. Catherine Disher for 'The Border' episode The Dead. A friend has sent the series to me. I remember this episode well, it was awesome.

Maybe next year she'll be nominated for Heartland or something else.

I found 1 picture of Jessica - if anyone finds a different one- please let me know. I would love a copy. For that matter, I would love to have a dress like hers.

edit - So far it's the only image I found of her.
