Has thanked: 5 time
Have thanks: 3 time
1st off, I think my AMD network has gone on strike.....

....An Intel device..... Whatever next?

Got an IPod ITouch & damn, it's a neat nifty little gadget....

On installing ITunes (latest version) then connecting the IPod with the neccessary registering of the device, i read the "little manual" not good enough, so viewed the user manual on Apple's site. A lot better but still...

On installing ITunes, it wanted to check out all the media on my drives so let it. It's just finished adding all media to ILibrary, but here's the problem....

It's showing up only 5,900 odd tracks when it should be showing over 20,000. Split the sceen to show Windows Explorer on the left with ILibrary on the right & tried to spot the difference...

It showed up pretty quickly... ILibrary's only adding folders within a main folder, i.e., d:/Data/Music/Music 1.

It's not drilling down, which I think is needed on a computer due to the logic of a computer (i.e., same track but different artists)

I have many of mine in seperate artist names if more than 1 album of theirs, but for large collections, have them divided into that catergory....

i.e., D:/Data/Music/Music 1/The Blues Collection (over 100 albums in that folder alone, with close to that many in "The Jazz Collection").

IS this a problem with ITunes not being able to drill down, or is it that I have settings configured wrongly?
