Let me know if these are already in a thread somewhere, and I've just utterly missed it.

I have a few q's: What are the credits ultimately for? What kind of performance do you guys usually get when running boinc?
Where the hell is my pen? Is there any way to get the graphical representation of a project to run more quickly/smoothly? Can we see anything from our end that could represent unusual activity? Who's making the next pot of coffee?

Answered in order.

1: Bragging rights

2: Depends on the machine and the project and if an Optimizing App (SETI only) is being used

3: It fell under the desk

4: Not sure, most BOINCers turn it off as it slows down the crunching

5: I'm guessing your talking about SETI here. Yes but Berkeley does the final analysis

6: I brew mine one cup at a time. My machine looks like this, only in beige

Wow, thanks for - wait - ONE CUP AT A TIME!??!

I bought a coffee -mug- that (according to my 12 cup coffeemaker) holds three cups.

It is a pretty little thing, tho. :-D

1 standard cup or 2 espresso. The knob under the three buttons is the length (amount) dial. Left rear is the water resevoir and right side top is the bean hopper. Each cup has the beans ground especially for it. Pricey but it was a present.

One cup at a time is the perfect way to enjoy coffee!! Never stale, always fresh. I use a large cup and just brew two shots!

Damn! Now I gotta go get one! lol

THAT IS THE BEST WAY TO MAKE COFFEE. I USE A 4 CUP MACHINE WHICH MEANS 2 MUGS. I MAKE ONE CUP AT A TIME.
ITS ALWAYS FRESH AND ALWAYS TASTES THE SAME.
I GUESS THE 2 OF US COULD BLAME THE FOOD SERVICE INDUSTRY FOR OUR COFFEE PREFERENCES.
