Thats great. We need all the help we can get if we want to make it. We should put POEM on another POTM soon. It's hard to do 2 project at the same time. What do you think Grizz???

As far as i remember, POEM wasnt a POTM per say, only "challenges".
The seven day challenge a tad back and this month's "bigger POEM-a-thon".

Im not all too inclined to have it as a POTM so soon after all that.
Besides, theres alot of other projects out there.

Just me.

Well done Frank. At the moment, I'm running down my cache of Magnetism & Seti Beta which should be clear around 21:00 tonight. Then will load up with QMC & see if the quad can cope with all 4 running with a reduced cpu % (I hope so).

If all goes well, I should be there by June 29. Hope so anyway.

Now that all 4 cores are back at 100%, I hope I hit 200k. I'm really surprised that I'm still 1st at the moment. I really expected Lunja to shoot way ahead of me last weekend. He'll probably end up 1st by the end of the month anyway.

I envy you guys with with your quads, my QMC units take forever to finish, its not the best POTM for me this time around but hopefully if Sztaki wins through I should do a little better for next month :(

Hey Timmy, my 2 main rigs are X2's & I have one cruncher, a 2.8 Celeron crunching nothing but 100hr+ wu's. I did originally have 21 rigs in the farm, but several "idiots" kept deleting AVG & some system files which kept messing up their systems. So rather than have wingmen moaning, I deleted them from Boinc & when they came for repairing/servicing, deleted Boinc off their systems.

Out of the 15 remaining, there is only 1 quad, mine. I orginally started crunching Seti Classic with an AMD Duron 850Mhz & 56k dial-up. On my return last year, started with AMD 64 3200, which is now Andrea's rig (upgraded to 3700). At the end of the day, all rigs help.

Rac about to drop big time. Pretty sure that Andrea's mobo is kaput. That's the 3rd rig in 2 weeks for the integrated graphics to die. I don't think they are meant to be run 24/7. The other 2 now have gpu's & no problems. Put gpu in Andrea's still getting bad problems. On shutdown, windows closes, but instead of getting a blank screen, just get fuzzy blue blocks & the same on restarting, but not on bootup - weird.

No rig would let me post on any forum yesterday afternoon, after writing post & clicking submit, I'd get the couldn't connect page. Whole net down for past 16 hours trying to figure out problems. 4 down 1 to go. Have to reinstall everything on Andrea's as server saw it as a new machine & wouldn't let me restore. Should be back crunching either later today or early tomorrow.

I figure we'll be about 350k short. I'll stay attached until we reach the goal.

Same here. There's no way I'll hit 200k by the end of the month, I reckon I'll be 19/20k short, so will keep going.

Wasn't a bad guess - looks like being approx 15k short.

JPLiz, I'm curious, when did you hit 200k?

We were a little short for our goal. I'll keep a couple of cores attached to this one until we hit the goal and I'm moving on to SZTAKI so we can reach 1 mil on that project.
