I went for Spinhenge because I have a very low score on that project and have not crunched it for ages

I voted for Einstein, but whichever one wins, I'll stick all rigs on it as all four are on my project list.

We did Einstein not too many months ago. I'd rather a new-for-me project.

I went for QMC as it has good credits per hour, always has work available and gives instant credit.

What more could you want?

I went for QMC as well. Summer is comming and it would be nice to have projects that are stable so we could enjoy the sun and not have to check are boxes every day.

I voted for QMC. QMC is my favourite project, so I really like the idea of cranking out yet more credit for it. As was already mentioned, there's always work for it, and they give out pretty good credit. Some of the wus can take a fair chunk of time to complete, but that's no biggie.

I voted for SETI as it's the only project of the bunch that I haven't hit my 100k goal on yet...

If Seti wins I will have to sit it out guys because I currently crunch for the US Navy on that project, but I could concentrate on crunching on the 2nd best project if Seti gets the highest vote

SETI gives credit right away and is stable as well, it closes for a short time on wednesdays for updates and maintenance.

I crunch SETI all the time and I only have 1 wu pending. It is posible the odd wu will take a while if someone takes a month to crunch it but for the most part they are quick.

Looks like a close race right now, get your votes in and break the tie.

At the moment, it looks like QMC. Running down cache on all rigs then start crunching it. Unfortunately, I won't be able to produce an rac like I have been.

I've had to delete 8 hosts as they were messing their systems about & their wu's on various projects were constantly being timed out. So only running with 12 now. However, several of my earlier customers now want to upgrade to quads, so less hosts but more cores  Also, hoping to upgrade Andrea's to a quad.
Nice, lose 8 hosts(single core) but gain 9 cores.

I'm starting to wrap up this month.

I will be shut down for 10 days to 2 weeks starting near the end of June. I won't leave things running unattended while I'm away, especially in hot weather.

Too bad Pirates didn't come through with anything. I'll live that open all week.

Still looking good for QMC. Currently on 3.7 mill. Will we hit 5mil by end of June?

Only worry with QMC is that it cooks your rigs a bit. All mine have gone up 8/10c. I'll keep running with a beady eye on them. It should get me to my 1st mill either by the end of June or very shortly after.

May be offline for a few days as just experienced major problem on network. At 1st thought it may be XP SP3, but as server is experiencing same problem........

Received the dreaded red icon (network critical) last night & on checking, found that I had lost all backup files from 2 rigs, but main desktop backups ok. Found this weird so checked on WHS forums - only solution found was "removed hard drive" without using add/remove wizard. This does not affect me as all drives showing healthy status.

On looking deeper into network, found all 3 main rigs, including server, had numerous computation errors on QMC. Also found on all rigs that the video playback software would not work - found this unusual as using the software only minutes before the critical alert. With the info gleaned from the forum, I have 2 choices -

1: Back up all boinc directories, reinstall server (which is ok for server & main desktop) but rebuild other rigs.
or
2: Try & trace the source of the problem.

Either way knocks my QMC rac for 6 & knocks my weekend for 6 as well  Have checked firewalls/AV & no problems shown. All connections ok.

I Love Computers
