Here’s the situation. Since 2007 I’ve been tracking my word count. Today I’m on the verge of a major milestone in writing. At some point in the next month or so – I’m hoping it’s by New Years Eve- I will type my 400,000th word in creative writing.

I thought it would be kind of fun to see what people would venture about this word. Now, I can’t give any prizes but there is the posterity and bragging rights. Heck, for that matter, throw in a date- if you’re brave enough. Just to let you know December 3rd and 4th. I don’t write on these days because I’m out running errands and paying the bills.

I am working on 3 different stories, attempting to complete the current chapter for each one. Two of these are fan-fiction the other is The Zodiac Chronicles. There’s another wager- which story will it be in?

I'm betting it'll be something mundane like 'at', 'the', or 'it', or worse even 'or'. LOL and I bet that this word will be in The Zodiac Chronicles.

Of course it might be something completely out of left field like Cylon, digitize or Biodread. Yes, I admit it - I write Captain Power fan-fiction.

As of tonight (Nov. 14 / 10), I need only 10,009 more words.

So, if you’re up to having some fun with this and maybe gain the bragging rights- take a shot.

Update- I wish that I could write every day. Fortunately when I do write I average around about 800 words. I wrapped my session tonight with 788 new words. This brings my count to 15,554 words.

Yup- I'm sneaky like that- you've got to watch me some times. Ya never know what I'm going to post. LOL I haven't written anything new on the stories since my last update. I need to get cracking though time is running out.

Finally!! I've been having issues with websites over the last few months. It's bee an adventure with little annoyances like having to reset passwords and such. I think it's from not logging in for a lengthy period of time.

I still have yet to reach the mile stone word- and that's the main issue that's kept me away- writing, rewriting, but especially comparing and deleting duplicate files.

Things are good- and I've missed my northern buds.
