  WereChild!!! Dont want to burst your/my bubble...
Im just an old cruncher who forgot to restart BOINC one day and stagnated at 10k credits for a couple of years...
Passed 100k credits a few days ago (2007-10-02), so 200k should be in about 5-6 months at current rate.
But thanks anyway

JP (and his obviously very patient lady, Liz! ) has tirelessly updated the User of the Day thread and been a real help here at OhC! Welcoming new members and helping with questions when possible! He also started the VERY POPULAR "My Crunching Room" thread, one of our most participated in threads! Always cheerful and funny (Heheh, just check out that avatar! Still makes me laugh!) he is a big part of the success of OhC!
Please join me in thanking him for his contribution!
Thanks A Million, JPLiz!!

Oh My God! i can't believe i haven't updated in here in over a year!!!
(hangs head in shame)
In that case we will have TWO ALL STARS!! YEAH!!

Sirius B and ZAPPDOG
Even though they represent both sides of the coin (Zapp loves his "vintage" hardware while Sirius is always ahead of the curve) both of these teammates have been with us for quite a while now and display the kind of positive attitude and team spirit that Team Canada can be proud of! Please join me in showering them with love and affection! lol

I whole heartedly agree! Although I haven't seen many Puppies being pushed lately - maybe Zappdog's secretly switched to Kitten Linux instead!

I like the idea of ''vintage hardware'', it sounds good! I almost feel like I want some too!
Two well-deserved all-star titles! I guess Sirius is sad about the fact it doesn't come with any cash prize,... remember his last electricity bills! I couldn't resist replying to this even though I am in stitches right this minute. My neighbours are looking at me as if i'm totally MAD (I am really, but don't want them to know ) Someone up above must really hate me!!!, but I'm not bothered. Friday morning(24th), Andrea came rushing upstairs (I know, I must learn not to be on a computer all day & night) panicing over a letter she just opened. When the matter has been finally resolved, will definitely post all copies of correspondence so that you can join in the laughter. The power company has referred our case to a debt collection agency (???????????) as we have not contacted them, or made any attempt to clear the bill (????????????). Went to accounts, printed off what I thought our financial situation was currently standing at, & then compared it against our bank statements. Bill has been paid Sent 2 special delivery letters, one to Agency & one to the power company...........I know it will cause some hardship for a little while, but I'm hoping they do cut us off........... I think after a while, the courts here will really get fed up with us I think it's Chinese culture at work, you know, Yin & Yang. Well Andrea & I are still having plenty of Yin on the lottery so this crap we're getting must be the Yang!

LePandaRoux wrote: Wow it's a never-ending saga! Not really. Over the past several months, have been reading & watching numerous news items in the papers & TV, & it's happening all over the country. The best I've ever read was a retired widow returning from holiday in Spain, only to find her front door kicked in. she thought that she had been burgled, but fortunately for her, she had great neighbours & they had kept her home secure until she returned. It was British Gas. They said that she hadn't paid her gas bill & ignored their communications so they had the bailiffs force entry into her home to cut off her gas supply. She stated on TV that she would have loved to have been there to see their faces when they found that there was no gas supply. She had an all electric home since she retired nearly 10 years previously. If memory serves me correctly, I believe that she got £250k compensation, but only after going through the legal system for close to 3 years. I think my problem is that I'm showing up these fools just how stupid they really are, & they just want to cause grief imo. It's also why I'm busy on the forum this morning. Been awake since early this morning, waiting for the bailiffs to turn up as they've stated they will. Just waiting for a police officer to turn up at 09:30 as they were informed by my solicitor that if they do not, she will have them charged under the distress laws, which are very strict when it comes to a disabled person. with him present, I will video the event & when the case is over, will post
