This month I picked projects that really need some crunching.
RieselSieve and Einstein because we are the 2nd place Canadian team:



Rectilinear Crossing Number because we are in 50th place:


QMC because we are in 52nd place:


All these projects run on Linux as well as windows so don't be afraid to vote.
The poll will stop 26 days from this post, so sometime in the afternoon or evening on Sept 30.

Now this is a pain in the BEEP! All those projects are good ones. I'm crunching all of them now so it's hard to pick one over the other. . I'll make my dicision later.

I'd like to change my vote to QMC which would make it 2 to 0, 0, 0. We could really move the team there up alot in a month.

I desided to vote for Einstein because I would like to see it get to the top 20 and attract more attention to our team so we can become the first place Canadian team. Since you desided to change your vote to QMC, I voted QMC for you and I'll take your Einstein vote. So the pole is back on track.

We are reaching the end of the current analysis run S5R2, and participants might soon experience an increase of the downloads necessary for the remaining workunits to be processed. Users with rather low bandwidth will probably want to suspend the project for some days

I believe they will run another analysis, I haven't seen Einstein out of work in years. If they don't have the work, we always default to the second place project for the month.

News from Einstein, looking good for October!

It wont. I didn't vote yet. I'm waiting until the last minute. Just let me know at what time the voting will end and i'll brake any ties if there is one.

It will end at 4:54PM GMT -4hrs Sept 30, It could still be a tie if others are waiting.

True but i hope not. Now i just have to figur out the time in NB Anyway if it's a tie, I'll go with the majorety. Eather one is good for me.

you could just check the time my first post in this thread was posted, it'll be the same time on the 30th.

In case of a tie, we will take the first project to get the highest votes.
eg. if Einstein gets a 6th vote before QMC then Einstein wins, and visa versa.

Voted for QMC. It seems really practical.


Edit: I didn't read the thread before voting. I hope no one resents the fact that the new guy may have decided the vote. I might have abstained if i'd known.
