Hey, I have looked but I don't see a post on this. How are you getting the BOINC stats to appear in your sigs. I have set up my stuff at the site and have login and such. I see the URL for stats pic but I can't figure out how to include it in my sig. Prolly missing something simple but help appreciated.

Well, theres 5 Kelly with a Canadian flag that i can find, so at least 1 to 3 of those has to be you.

I didn't see any user named Paris on Canada, what is your CPID I might be able to find it then.

Kelly, I think you should try to pick a nickname that is more unique. Then make sure that all of your project accounts have the same name. Are you using the same email address at all your projects? If you aren't then the Statistic sites will see your accounts as different and not total your points properly.

I like "ParisNova". Just a thought.

Kelly
Rosetta

Kelly M
SETI

My name for SETI was paris04 but I don't know the password. This is the third username I've had for it, because I forgot the first username... meant Paris because I'm dumb.

Ok I guess I'll get a new name... again.

Alright, I was wrong, my old SETI@home account was also called Kelly. I reset the password, great. Whenever I put it into SETI it tells me to check the e-mail and password, so that was my problem... I will get a new name for SETI then and also for Rosetta...

Me. Again.
I am ParisNova on SETI and Rosetta now. I think what confused me is where it says "Name"... that'd be why I put Kelly. So, yeah, I'm starting all over again!

Just where are you finding them? I've been to Boincstats.com and can't find anything like what you have in the stats. Am I looking incorrectly?

Not sure why you would have to start all over again.

#1- Go to project site
#2- Your account
#3- Forgot password
#4- Enter email used when you created account
#5- Wait a bit, then check email (remove from spam list if need be  )
#6- Create folder called BOINC and put all related emails (passwords & User ID key and whatnot) in there
#7- Go to project site again
#8- Log into Your account
#9- Go to other user info and change name there

Basically, after a while, it should look something like this.

Oh my goodness... well, I already made the new accounts, I didn't know I could just change usernames.

Ok, I went to the 2 accounts, the ones with the links above, from what I posted on the weekend... and I changed that to ParisNova...

Kelly, Ditch the new accounts and use the ones with the most credit on them.

Edit - Glad you like the ParisNova name. :)

Well, guess what.
In my e-mail I had my initial e-mails from SETI@Home from sometime in 2005. I kept being told that the e-mail address didn't exist and just found out why. I apparently went and changed my e-mail address with them to a different one, and just figured it all out... Slowly getting things sorted. So, now I have my old SETI account back!!!

Good news then!?
Its always worth the extra effort to dig a little deeper in most cases.
