Geez, doesn't every good Canadian own a copy of Bad Manors? ;) IMO it's one of the best Canadian rock albums ever.

RED MENACE
DARN RIGHT. I'VE GOT A HALF DOZEN OF THEIR ALBUMS. SOME REAL OBSCURE STUFF. INCLUDING SOME KING BISCUIT BOY.
ONE OF CANADA'S FINEST BLUES/ROCK BANDS FROM THE HIPPY ERA.
I PARTIED WITH THEM FOR A WHOLE WEEK IN SUDBURY BACK IN THE 70'S. A GREAT BUNCH.
KELLY JAY STILL MAKES THE LOCAL SCENE OUT HERE. HE LIVES NOT FAR FROM CALGARY.
ROCK ON
DR.Z

"BELLY" (edit) UP ON THE PAVEMENT IN WAWA ONTARIO (REMEMBER ?? ) I'VE BEEN STUCK THERE MYSELF WHILE HITCHHIKING.

That's how I found this place. I have three crunchers running: an E6750 dual core, a compact dual core pentium sumthin or other, and an old athlon k7 1 gig.

I sure do. I have their live album with it on it, and King Bisuit Boy makes an appearance on another tune. I think it's time to resurrect my turntable :)

HEY RED MENACE
IT SURE IS TIME. MY PLATTER HAS BEEN SITTIN THERE LOOKIN PRETTY BUT HASN'T SPUN VINYL IN A COUPLE OF YEARS
PROBABLY. THATS A SHAME TOO, WITH 800 ALBUMS SITTIN HERE.
I KNOW WHAT MY PROBLEM IS THERE, I WATCH WAY TOO MUCH TV. WELL I THINK ITS TIME TO FORGET ABOUT THOSE HORRIBLE CSI RERUNS AND START SPINNIN AGAIN.
I ALSO WANT TO START RECORDING DIGITALLY THE WHOLE COLLECTION SO THE VINYL CAN BE PRESERVED. I ALSO HAVE ANOTHER 400 ON CASSETTE TAPE, SOME OF WHICH IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. SO THEY NEED THE SAME TREATMENT.
VINYL WILL NEVER DIE COMPLETELY CAUSE THERE ARE WAY TOO MANY OF US OLDER MUSIC LOVERS WITH HUGE COLLECTIONS.
:bounce:

Vinyl has much more range in frequency too. But digital is slowly catching up.

I stole mine from here. http://www.canadianbands.com/Crowbar_CDs.html My copy is like yours. Same label ID and is distributed by Capitol Records. I also Have Larger than Life, Heavy Duty, and KE32746.

---------

Been playing with this BOINCStats site. It's a PITA until you get to know how it works. Hopefully my stats will be all updated soon.

I'm new to the forum but not the team, have been contributing on and off for a few years now depending on the state of my computers and location. I'm wondering if I'm the user most remote from Canada, in Mumbai (Bombay) google earth says you can't get much further from Montreal without swimming. Anyone further afield?

HOWDY MCASEY3
WELCOME TO THE TEAM. MUMBAI IS DEFINITELY A LONG WAY FROM HERE.
I'M SORRY TO SAY THAT YOU WOULD MOST LIKELY BE THE SECOND FARTHEST.
RED ATOMIC IS A MEMBER FROM TASMANIA. YOU WOULD HAVE TO SCROLL THROUGH THE MEMBER LIST TO CONFIRM ANY OTHERS.
SO YOU ARE A LONG TIME CRUNCHER. WHAT PROJECTS HAVE YOU BEEN RUNNING.?
BE SURE TO CHECK OUT OUR PROJECT OF THE MONTH ( POTM )
GLAD TO HAVE YOU ONBOARD.

Welcome Aboard mcasey3!! Well you may be the most remote Team Canada Member at least! It's true Red Atomic is in Tassy but he is a member of Calm Chaos. We welcome all BOINCers here no matter what team they are on.
