This month, for bonus points, anyone running windows, we want you to attach to DepSpid along with the voted project. They will both run at the same time on one core without any loss in points to the voted project.

Anyone running Linux, sorry no bonus points just run the voted project.

Does DepSpid have enough work? I signed up today, but there's nothing available.

It is getting started up soon after a lengthy shut down. and even if it doesn't have work the other project should. We want people to be aware of how DepSpid works and we want everyone to see it run, this way they will realize it should be allowed to run all the time no matter what the POTM is.

All of this on a completely voluntary basis of course. It's all about awareness and helping each other with project specific troubles and details.

No one should feel they are obligated to participate in the POTM's or competitions. They are a tool/byproduct of what we do. In the end, we are a small part of a VERY BIG network that is trying to solve some of humanities greatest problems and mysteries. That big network benefits no matter where you decide to lend your support, be it traveling along with the POTM or holding down the fort at one of the ............ Man, I don't even know anymore! 75? 80+ if you add in all the nonBOINC projects? lol The BOINCiverse if HUGE!

So no matter where you decide to BOINC, you're doing the right thing!

Looks like I'm the only one to choose rectilinear so far. I chose it because the math seems a little more interesting than prime numbers. It's now got a screen saver too. That being said, I'll run whatever wins!

Don't worry Jill, Rectilinear will be there again, it still needs some attention.

And they're apparently finishing up completely soon (supposed to end by end of December 2007, but the remaining work still needed to be split...)

Looks like RS is definitely in the lead at this point so I'll start switching over soon. I've already set Einstein to "no new work" - still waiting on anywhere from 7-10,000 pending credits (it keeps fluctuating and I'm too lazy to check right now) so there will still be a little trickle from that quarter for a while to come.

Well SURE!! I've always said that crunchers may come and go as they please. We don't run an internment camp here. Just looked and that would be 4 teams for ya! HAHAHA! Nice job spreading the love Timmy! :comp3:
