to have a non-boinc forum? someone's got to talk about the stand alone projects. hell, some are even shared with boinc.

FIRST OF ALL A BIG WELCOME TO THE TEAM. WE LIKE NEW BLOOD. (WELL IT IS HALLOWEEN)
THE NON BOINC FORUM SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD IDEA. BUT IT WOULD BE BETTER FOR ALL INVOVLED TO START A NEW THREAD IN THIS FORUM. I WOULD SUGGEST STARTING A LIST OF NON BOINC PROJECTS IN HERE FIRST AND SEE WHAT THE RESPONSE IS. POST A LIST OF THE NON BOINC PROJECTS THAT YOU KNOW OF AND WAIT TO SEE WHAT GETS ADDED TO IT.
BE SURE TO ADD URL LINKS AS WELL.

We already had the links but they were lost when the forum crashed back in July. We already have teams in non BOINC projects, we'll start a thread and post some of these links this weekend if we get a chance.

HHHMMM??? I can't add them at the top (where the icons/buttons you mentioned are), I have no control over those, I don't think .......

But I might have a solution, let me investigate.

I like the F1 one. I ll give us a good idea on what project to crunch on the POTM. If we see a project at 11, we mite want to give it a puch. Just my two cents...:blueskate:

OK, I have made a rough outline of what I think you are asking for. Check the new section above the Artwork Section. I would like to replace the text links with buttons (I'll get around to that soon) and if there are specific links you would like included, please post them here or PM me. Keep in mind I would prefer not to have links to outside websites right at the top of our forum page. Those links can be added to the "Link Thread" which is listed there.

Let me know what ya think.
