On March 4th my laptop, Daedelus, decided to kick the video-bucket. I spent the past few days trying to find a way to revive the video. The export port continues to fail to function as well. By all other aspects, the laptop appears to be working fine (I used a shortcut to play some music). I now have it plugged back in and running as a cruncher only. Good thing I never saved any files on it at all!

Today I acquired a new dual-core laptop which I have named Valkyrie. Valkyrie's life force is not running out. However, Valkyrie needs food badly, where food is equivalent to WCG crunching units. There she goes, crunching away. We should see a bit of an increase over the next few days as things exceed normal.

It looks like we can switch to POEM for the 24th without a position change in any of the WCG challenges. I'll post the final points for the bunny race on the 25th.

The closest thing that I know of is:

http://boinc.fzk.de/poem/forum_thread.php?id=172

They've got links to other stat sites within the thread, but that's the "official" one...

Sorry guys. I've had to shut down my net at 3am this morning. I noticed that my workstation was hitting 81 degrees, quad 76 & server 73. Even Andrea's single core was showing 67.

All rigs came back online at 18:30 this evening & all showing a 10 degree decrease. Cannot find what was causing the high heat. Weather here pretty cool & house also cool (not cold enough to have heating on). Find it weird & will be keeping a close watch.
