If you want to see a project in the voting, post it here.

Just remember, account creation must be open so others can join in and, of course, it must appear that they have lots of work so we don't shut them down.

One other thing, I like to pick projects that need some attention, usually ones that are down in the stats.

Been running Superlink (alongside Depspid and the POTM) since Grizz mentioned they had work again.
So far it looks like about ~3000 wu per 24h, and they take a whole 3min to do on my box.
Theres only 14 people running it atm, most of them are present on the forum *waves*

Dont know if Superlink would be a good candidate for the POTM tough.
Not with the number of boxes some of you guys a running.
I dont know if they would have enough WU

I think Superlink needs a bit of time before it will be a good candidate for POTM. We need to see a steady flow of work. Another problem is it needs about 1Gig of RAM, which will put alot of people with older machines out of it.

malariacontrol.net please. It's a very stable project that I think doesn't get enough help. A personal favourite.

Now that Malaria control has account creation open, it can be a candidate. We are 11th by RAC which is alot better than other projects but I can add it to next months voting.

If Superlink keeps up the work for this month, I'll add it to the voting as well. We are 4th by RAC, which is very good for us. Some of us are running older machines and this project needs 1 Gig of RAM, keep this in mind when you vote.

I'm finding the SuperLink wu's come in with less than a 1 day return time, so they get bumped up to High Priority. I have my networks status to always available, so I am getting a revolving door effect: as soon as one finishes, it reports, and another dl's and starts running. They are hogging all my time. I don't care for this practice even though it's a worthwhile project.

Cosmology or Milkyway.
ABC or N-Queens - we're fairly far down in position on these two. N-Queens says it has over a million wu's right now.

The final results are in the first post after the thread is locked if we had a pole that month.

This project was just voted on for April, I was going to do more requests in July. I'll add it to that list. In June I was going to pick the biggest projects that need our help with a bit of a boost.

I plan on putting this project in the voting but I think it is a little early yet, I had alot of errors recently and we would probably run out of work real quick on this one. I'll probably give this one a couple of months yet.

Being a cruncher of the project I'd have to agree with Grizz. I'm currently getting a consistent 20% error rate on the "good" batches ("bad" batches are close to 100% error rate, but don't take up much CPU time).

:hmm: I won't argue with you guys because I'm a newbie and don't know much about it but I did notice one thing about their work units...at least those I've done over the last two weeks. I got a bunch of errors as well until I suspended the other projects and ran AIS exclusively for a week or so. What I found is that all the work units that I ran without pausing them succeeded. I tested my theory by downloading a bunch of wu's and then starting and pausing them. Each one I did this with failed. The work unit would end and I would get a compute error. If your Boinc is set up to switch between projects every hour as mine was it would never finish a work unit as they each take about 5 hours to complete with my cpu. I have yet to have a wu fail of theirs that I ran without a pause. Test it out for yourself and I think you'll find I'm right. My cpu does run 3 or 4 degrees hotter crunching their wu's though. As for how much work they have...I'll defer to Grizz on that point. :)
