they seem to be stuck in my Outbox

Anyways I copied it

Good first step your taking

I'm the founder for Canada on the following Bionc projects
Docking @ Home
Protiens @ Home
PerlBoinc RieselSieve
Rectilinar Crossing Numbers (RNC)
yesterday I created teams for
Project Neuron
and a non-Bionc project Pi Segment

I have to point out one thing, there is Canada and Team Canada, Team Canada has a website (I'll try to find it again later)

Also Canada has alot of teams running non Boinc like Folding at Home, which I would like to let people know about.

I've move on from Seti and other established projects to help newer ones get foothold in the Disturbing Computing world.

Now we have a Forum we just need a banner. I'll update the projects with the link.

Cheers
Dave

Got them! and I assume you recieved my THREE versions. Thank You for the kind words and pointing out the Fractured Nature of Team(s) Canada.

That actually concerns me alot as I've gone on this "Quest" for community. The Canucks are spread out far and wide. Kinda like Canada itself. I hope to brings as many teams together as possible and see what happens. It seems even large teams have very few regular posters and small teams often have none. :( I hope this can be a place where all are welcome (regardless of Nationality or Allegiance) and we can have fun and keep each other informed.

This place isn't even 24 hours old yet so expect changes to be FAST and FURIOUS! I think I'll make a few right now!!

Paul

Well I have made it to Quebec and am in a hotel until my furniture arrives, which might be a while.

I transfered the team founder today, I have made corrections already. I got rid of the website and substituted this one, I also changed the TeamCanada to just Canada as Frank pointed out. There was some funky HTML codes going on that did absolutely nothing.

Now I did refresh and these changes haven't taken effect yet but I will check back.

And thanks for the forum, it makes it a lot easier, especially where I do not have a lot of time right now.

Blah, to losing my other two computers to the move, my RAC has plummeted.

I started posting the link in team page, and I did want to confuse or upset anyone about which team is which

It is VERY confusing some times. Let people know that they are welcome and we will sort out who is who when necessary. First thing is to let them know and then we can all grow! Man that's corny but I like it.

I've update my team pages. Some updates didn't take right a way, I'm guessing that'll happen on the next stats update

I'll hit the recruitment threads next couple of days

This is just great! I know people will have a tonne of questions and I hope we can all put our heads together and figure out the answers.

I'm just gonna put this out there and see if people stomp it into the ground or not.

IMHO

I would like to see a United Team Canada flying one flag over as many different BOINC and non-BOINC projects as possible. And if this would mean people switching teams (their choice of course, I would not want to be deemed a "poacher") then so be it. 1000? 2000? Even THREE THOUSAND Strong! The more we pull together instead of pushing apart, the Stronger we all become! Long way off? Probably, But you never now what's possible on the net.

OK, that's enough of me spoutin' off.

Hi Pawly,

This is great! Thanks for all your work. I put a link up on the Rosetta "Canada" page.

Hi Frank,

Didn't mean to put you out over at Docking but it looked like you had vanished. Since I didn't have an email address for you I thought that the transfer button was the easiest way to contact you. Glad you're still crunching.

If there's a banner that you've created and uploded I'll put it on the Rosetta page. I'm assuming I can just use the same image tags you use to put an image into a message right?

Thanks again,
Bill

LMAO! No, just a long winded, loudmouthed, dreamer. Does it come across that bad? Just want to get opinions. I think this is new territory for a lot of people. Seems most just download, start crunching and don't give it a second thought.

EDIT

Hey there Bill!
Thanks for the kind words! Yup BBCode in full effect. As soon as I have something better I will replace the banner (i'm not much of a graphics editor).

I thought we should have a beaver holding the Canadian flag, but when I googled beaver.......well lets just say Canadian beaver didn't get the results I was looking for on this particular search either.

Howdy Bill and Tony

No problem Bill

with 39 Boinc projects, you can only run so many

I've been running GPU client for Folding for last few months

right now 900 video cards put 55 tflops thats more then rosetta's 40 tflops

I hoping Boinc projects will start taking advantage of Stream and SMP computing

I'm reorganizing the farm (my computers) so finding info to post is a bit of search right now (links and other stuff)

Tony click on Images on the top of the Google page

Hi Pawly, I finally got through those tough looking security guards at the door, didn't want to let me in, but with a little convincing, I managed.

LOL! How do you like it? I was up pretty late myself fiddlin' around in here. I think this layout is easier to read as well as navigate. Still a work in progress. BTW there is no such thing as "too much coffee".

You've really taken to this eh? Wonder what it'll look like by tomorrow? :D You've come up with some interesting ideas. I'm sure not this creative. Looks great.
