 Not any longer all rigs now crunching away with plenty of wu's.

 Unforunately, no X86_64. So no quad running.

 Until the malaria wu's complete on it, then I'm going to pull the XP X64 disk & insert Vista. I love backplanes.

First I got no w/u's when I joined until edited preferences at Sztaki
Then it would only spoon feed one w/u for one core
It when wasn't until I did a RESTART that I got work for all cores

I noticed that there is a 100 w/u's per day limit per computer
that's enough for a single core for a day

So no big numbers from Sztaki for me

SETI Beta was second, you could run that on the other cores.

I think it is 100 wu's per core and not per computer, but don't quote me on that :)

I'm running 10 day work buffers on both core duos and have over 200 queued on each. Hardly denting them. Mind you son is sitting home all day playing games ;) I like the 10 day queue. These wu's are way over-estimated, and it cuts down on pending units.

Oh boy, this is going to be fun. I was expecting the Malaria wu's to finish around midday today, but they completed around 6am - Bad, 3 hours idle. Anyway, shutdown rig, swapped trays & rebooted into Vista. Went into BAM & attached to all projects I'm crunching in with the settings no new work. sync'ed vista to bam & had breakfast.

Came back to rig & AAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaahhhhh, it had d/l'ed wu's for EVERY project, except RS & LHC. Poor quaddie, Long QMC & Astropulse  I'll never catch up at this rate

I'm flat out. Have 2 more quads to add, but they won't be built until late next week, too late to make much of a difference.

Rather than replace the whole gubbins, will get new mobo for the celeron at the weekend. Will also be getting an X2 6000 + mobo for Andrea's & an X4 to complete neighbours quad system. So another 6 cores to help. That should boost my rac

Spoke too soon! Should learn not to speak of the devil  About an hour ago, my desktop locked up - I knew there may be problems as it's being acting up all week. Even on reboot, it locked up so did the next best thing - restored from server a backup I knew was ok.

No problems, desktop back to normal - must have been corrupted files/virus. Reset project as all the wu's from the backup have already been completed. Now the only problem is that I'm constantly getting no tasks sent, so set new tasks on Superlink & left SZ open fo work.

Everything happens in Threes, so I'm dreading what may be next!

Just added another laptop. However, here's your chance to catch me up. Over the next few days, will be upgrading/rebuilding/swapping cases. Couldn't find a 6000 so settled for a 5000 as got another good deal. Hopefully, there'll be no hiccups.

We didn't reach our million goal but we made a large increase in position by total credit and move up to 19th place. We also doubled our contribution from when we started.

Now it is time to move on to Leinden.
