Like many families, mine has been hit by this terrible illness. My mother, my sister and now my brother. Uncles and aunts as well. Happily, most have fought hard and survived. I lost a cousin to leukemia not long ago.

This is my preferred charity as well. Many in my family have been hit by cancer, some have survived, other's were not so fortunate.

I'm in the same boat with the loss of several loved ones over the last couple of years. I pretty much always support cancer initiatives, but I also support our local Children's hospital whenever they have a fund raiser as well.

Two nights ago, after a two year valiant battle with esophageal cancer, my brother Leo passed away. He died the way he wanted, at home in the arms of his wife. We bury him Monday.

PLEASE.

Give all you can to worthy charities.

Condolences from Andrea & I, Pawly. That's way too young to pass on.

Thank You everyone!

First visitation was last night and two more sessions today. What is the saying about measuring a man's worth by how well attended his funeral is? lol Apparently my Bro had some worth! lol Unbelievable the amount of folks showing up. I can't imagine who'll be there today and tomorrow.

Thanks Again,
Paul

Sorry to hear about your loss Pawly. It's never easy losing a loved one, but it does get better over time. Take care and take a little time for yourself to deal with things...
