It should be the team that Frank is on but it looks like the manager of the team didn't put our website on it.
Stand idly by while your computer goes BOINC!

Just threw my ATI 3650 card on this as my GPU was just sitting there doing nothing...

Well, first unit didn't make deadline (too many crashes trying to get things stable). I've got it stable at 85% GPU usage which may or may not allow jobs to finish. We'll see if the next one makes it or not...looks like a shorter one so there's a good chance it'll finish.

Well 2nd GPU job is at 88% so it looks like it has a good chance of completion (deadline is a day and a half away)...should know for sure in another 6-8 hours...

Well I now officially have a validated wu at Folding - see here! Things are stable now at 90% GPU usage - the main setting that seems to have made the most differnece is upping the priority of the core ("Core Priority: Slightly higher (use if other distributing computing applications are stopping Foldin@Home", under the Advanced tab of the Folding@Home Control Panel). Some of my issues may also have had to do with the fact I was actively crunching BURP which always seems to hammer my machine a bit. It's not the speediest GPU around (actually it's probably one of the slowest able to actually crunch anything...), but at least it's being put to some use now.

You should try the new driver Catalyst 9.3 for your ATI. It apparently works better on Folding !

Thanks for the heads up - I'll give it a shot later tonight. You're pretty well on top of things seeing as the driver was only released today!

I just tried it and there's an annoying "bug" in the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 redistributable package - if there's a "G" drive on your PC it will try to unpack there for some reason. Since my "G" drive was my DVD-R/W there was 0 drive space available and the install would crash. Since the Catalyst installer doesn't actually provide any useful error (besides "disk full") I didn't figure it out until I tried the download from MS which actually had a drive letter associated with the "disk full" error message. Oh, well - all installed now...
