Maybe somebody is tapping into your lines? It happens.

Power company's sending someone on Thursday to check it out. Was averaging £210 with 8 rigs & can't see how another 2 would more than quadruble it. As we pay on a monthly scheme, the total bill including those payments is £1310.44 - No way Jose!

I'm assuming POEM wins so I've maxed out it's resource share (still crunching multiple projects per rig though!). There are a lot of bigger crunchers than me out there these days so let's see who can catch up and knock me out of #1! :P (yeah, I know - I've got a big head start, but you gotta love a challenge!)

According to the Free-DC stats, it'll take me a little over a year (at this rate).
Meh!

HEY SIRIUS B
HOWS IT GOING WITH THE POWER COMPANY ? THATS A SHOCK AND A HALF. I'M EVEN SURPRISED BY YOUR NORMAL MONTHLY BILL. THATS A FAIR BIT.
FORTUNETLY I HAVE MY POWER INCLUDED IN MY RENT WHICH IS WHY I TRY TO KEEP IT AT 2 BOXES GOING. I'M SCARED IF I RUN ANY MORE THAN THAT, THE LANDLORD MIGHT RAISE THE RENT. SO ITS BEEN QUITE A FEW YEARS SINCE I'VE SEEN A POWER BILL.
THERE MUST BE A FEW CANADIAN TEAM MEMBERS THAT RUN CLOSE TO THAT NUMBER OF RIGS.
WHATS IT COSTING TO RUN THAT MANY IN CANADA ?

Have to wait until Tuesday to ring & complain. Engineer failed to turn up, but from what was discussed with their main office last Friday, it may be possible that the meter is faulty (It is a really old one that uses 1/10-1/100-1/1000 dials rather than the new diigital ones).

They tried to fob me off by stating that the bills were mostly estimated ones until I pointed out that I always rung in the correct reading & paid bills promptly. Have already paid the 1st bill for 2009, but informed them that if bill is correct, I'm going to take my time in paying as they sent bill 3 months late

Still can't see how an extra 2 rigs (both X2's) would triple the quarterly bill.
