New WCG Project - Influenza Antiviral Drug Search


Mission
The mission of the Influenza Antiviral Drug Search project is to find new drugs that can stop the spread of an influenza infection in the body. The research will specifically address the influenza strains that have become drug resistant as well as new strains that are appearing. Identifying the chemical compounds that are the best candidates will accelerate the efforts to develop treatments that would be useful in managing seasonal influenza outbreaks, and future influenza epidemics and even pandemics.

Congratulations!!

By tomorrow I'll have the bronze badge myself on this one too.

By the way, did you see how short the WUs are for Help Cure Muscular Dystrophy Phase 2. I'll get as much results for a bronze badge than I got crunching my gold badge on HFCC.

Yeah, I've had a few of them. I don't mind the short ones every now and then, although you do lose a few cycles in the switch-overs to new tasks...

Just hit gold on DDDT & should hit gold on flu sometime this week. HCMD is taking it's time though :cry:
