Hi guys, can anyone help with this?

Recently upgraded Andrea's rig (had to as cube got sold) with a 19" Widescreen monitor & a Geoforce 512mb 9500GT. All I'm getting is this: -

20/10/2008 02:05:59|PS3GRID|Message from server: No work sent
20/10/2008 02:05:59|PS3GRID|Message from server: Full-atom molecular dynamics for Cell processor is not available for your type of computer.
20/10/2008 02:05:59|PS3GRID|Message from server: Full-atom molecular dynamics is not available for your type of computer.

Have installed the cuda 2.0 app, tookit & SDK in the order requested.

I just took a look on their forum, and your card the 9500gt is supported under cuda. It may be slow with only 32 shaders, but it should work.

I had that problem a day or 2 ago with a ps3, I had to update the drivers. The drivers I am using are- Boinc 6.3.14 for my desktops, and the last cuda drivers from nvidia. You may have to update your boinc to 6.3.14 , as it is the test app for gpu units. Mine on the quad will run 1 ps3grid unit and 4 others now with this new driver. hope it helps.

Also take a look at when boinc starts up, under messages if your card is running under emulation mode it will not work, it has to be its own processor. Also if you have sli enabled on multiple cards it will not work.

during startup under messages boinc should see your specific card, 9500gt and set it to work. Sorry for the ramble,

Phil

Thanks Philze. Tried posting earlier today, but the forum would not let me do so. Upgraded to 6.3.14, but now stating no cuda devices detected. All drivers are up todate.

I was looking and I think you need to install cuda 1.1 here is a copy off the forum.
Hello everyone!

To bring some light into the jungle of chip code names, computing capabilities and shaders I created the following overview.

Cards that are red will not run the new applications that are compiled using the Cuda 2.0 SDK.
Cards in grey are able to run these applications, but are simply to slow and hence not recommended by the project. (main page says 50, somewhere it was stated that cards with 96 stream processors are recommended)
Green cards will run the current applications without problems, if there is any it should be a software bug...

Computing capability 1.0 red

Geforce 8800 GTS - 320/640M - 96 shader units

GeForce 8800 GTX - 768M - 128 shader units

PS3GRID has changed it's name to GPUGRID.

The Latest BOINC manager is 6.3.19 It cleaned up some small issues with 6.3.14, and 6.3.17

I believe the new manager checks out your video card for speed, and gives it some CPU power to complete tasks, leaving the rest to crunch away at whatever other projects you run. As on my quad it runs 4 other and 1 GPU.

Yesterday our team just about reached 120,000 points for the day!!!!!!!!!!!! Just imagine if we had double the members to 20, GPUGRID could challenge SETI for top spot in RAC.

As I type this I am laughing like the count on seasmie street.

Good to hear Frank!! I think that brings our numbers up to 11 on the team with credit.

My gtx 260 pulls in just over 8K a day. There are some guys who overclocked the heck out of their stuff and are getting over 13K a day on the same card on the same computer. I am just a little chicken, as my kid killed his game computer doing that.
