If u want u can use the flash swf version here as html is enabled in posts and sigs - up to you :)

thanks Timmy, you are very kind, and always my pleasure to help out a pal :) Yeah, I tried using a different kind of compression and software to create the animated gif version of your flash swf - it turned out pretty darn close - I think we just got lucky with that LOL - I guess you're getting ready for France now and the leprachauns leave tomorrow eh?

I tried to use the flash on here but the code has to be less than 500 characters so it wouldnt work

The leprachauns are heading home this lunchtime and I heading to France next Monday

Shame about the match but you have 6 to make it right now - Timmy

Okay, Timmy - hope u have safe ride to Heathrow.

Oh, if ever u decide to post the flash version instead, just send me the flash html coding, and I will alter it so it fits here (I have to do same thing all the time lol). Yeah, u right, we've got six more games to go :)

Hi Timmy, thanks for the good wishes! Yeah, the Sens admitted they let the Ducks get off too easy, I think they were a little out of practice, so I'll be hoping for the best tonight. It's been almost 15 years since our own Stanley Cup came back to Canada, so we're all hoping for the best here :) hey, that's cool u got the flash/shockwave version of your sig goin - hurray!

I guess the leprachauns have goon back, glad u had a nice visit, and now off to France you lucky guy lol. I think a big storm is headed here and I am going to skate to Rideau Centre to get a buspass before it starts lol - wish me luck - I'll bring my umbrella just in case - take care :D !!

Okay, 1st period is over - score is still 0-0. Anaheim is out-shooting Ottawa, 12 to 7, so hope Ottawa picks up the pace in 2nd period :)

I think the Sens have jinxed themselves lol.

I have to admit the Sens are not playing well, they did very badly last night. Thank God Emery is so good, otherwise the score would have been a lot worse than 1-0.

The Sens keep losing the puck, way too many giveaways. Someone shoots, usually there's no one to receive the pass, nearly always on the defensive. The Ducks are outshooting the Sens more than 2 to 1. Maybe the Sens are tired physically or psychologically - could be the Ducks simply are a stronger, more coordinated team. Whatever the case, and I am trying to think positive here, something better change Saturday or it's probably "Game Over". Until they win a game, I'm pulling my sig for now. Let us hope for a miracle :)

Ye cant pull your sig that would be like giving up, my soccer team in england (Leeds Utd) have hit their lowest ebb, they got relegated to the third tier in the league system for the first time in the 85 year history but I am travelling to Yorkshire in August to be there for the first home game no matter what happens, you gotta have faith Chris ! Have you got tickets for the home games that are coming up?

No, way too expensive for me lol. Maybe u r right about having faith and about my sig, but they've been playing so badly it's a bit embarrassing almost LOL! Well, if you can still support your team under those circumstances, I suppose I can try to be more hopeful. Thanks for rallying Timmy :) !!

* ahem *

Ducks 2...Sens 0....

Seems such a shame that the Wings couldn't get past the Ducks...lol

Sorry Ratty. I couldn't resist. :-)

That's cool KM LOL :)

But, honestly, who knows what would've happened if the Wings were facing the Sens instead of the Ducks. I'm guessing the Wings couldn't get past the Ducks for kind of the same reasons the Sen's are having problems - those Ducks are a hard team - well coordinated and determined. Tho' I will admit the Wings certainly played better against the Ducks than our Sens have so far - but there are few more games to go.

If Ottawa can't get its act together Saturday night, then it's pretty well over, realistically. I'm hoping the Sens "big" line Alfreddson, Heatley and Spezza finally manage some great things Saturday despite Anaheim's very effective obstruction. Just my 2 cents on all this :)

I actually think that the coach is going to split that line up. They have been completely ineffective against the Ducks' defense. The Sens may be better served to put those guys on a couple of seperate lines to see if they can get something sparked.

I think the Sens have had the same misfortune that the Wings had in running into a very hot goalie. Jiggy is stopping EVERYTHING right now.

Unless he cools off, I think the Sens may be in trouble.

Just before u posted that, I was reading the sports section in our local paper - and the sports writer was writing about what you just said about splitting up the big line LOL - good one !

Yeah, these two games have shown the Ducks know how to stop the Sens big line - definitely time for a different strategy.

Giguere is an outstanding NHL goaltender - no doubt about it. Emery is a good little puck stopper himself, but Giguere has a ton more experience and can't believe how little the Ducks gave up in trade to get him from the Flames.

You're right, he is stopping everything, and combined with everything else ... I'm worried (can you tell LOL?) Still, like Timmy says, u gotta have faith - so I'm hopin and prayin for a miracle Saturday ;) Go SENS Go .... PLEASE !!!!!!

Miracle shmiracle... it was divine intervention for the Ducks that the Sens had so much trouble getting started. I'm not being so cocky as to say the Sens should have an easy time, but c'mon they certainly weren't themselves in the first two games (first one in particular). Emery was the better goalie in game two for sure, but he was left out to dry by the team. Last night was a great game, and the Red Mile was on FIRE

Good thing we type here though, 'cause my voice is just about gone
SplatRat were you down on Elgin last night? Awesome place to be after the game... I ended up watching at City Hall on the big screens.

Go Sens Go!

It's good to see Ottawa starting to make a series of it. Being a die hard Habs fan it's sad to have to cheer for those darn guys in Ottawa but what the hell, I'm a Canadian first and I'll cheer for a Canadian team in the final anytime.

GO SENS GO!!

PS, it's also nice to see SETI running again, the last few weeks have been a real downer...pun very much intended... :?

Haha Modesto - Was I down on Elgin LOl - ubet - I'm still recuperatin LOL LOL ! That's why I haven't posted 'til now - ouch my head. Great game - wish I was at ScotiaBank place, but the $$$$$$ ouch.

Hurray for the SEns - I agree with all the positive things peeps have said about the home team.

Mind you, as Timmy reminded me yesterday, only 3 times before have a team managed to come up from behind 2 games - but hey, maybe ottawa'll be the 4th eh?

Was great the sens managed to strategically beat the Ducks usual strategy of body checks and forechecking .

And @ KM - guess "Jiggy's" got a few chinks in his armour after all, eh? LOL

Mind you, I'll feel a lot better once the Sens win the next game too ! Wonder what people think of the Sens saying the reason they played so badly down in California was cuz the ice "was too soft" lol ! I guess Ducks are more used to "soft ice" eh? Maybe a more crucial factor is "home ice" LOL !

I hear you about the sensitive head... started in the pm at a buddy's lots of drinking since we knew we'd be on the street for the game, then after the game we headed to the Oak just across Pretoria bridge (screaming at all the fans from the balcony was fun :) ) By the time I got home it was like 2:30, thank god for designated drivers eh!
Can't wait for tomorrow!

I believe the soft ice theory. Players often complain about sub standard ice surfaces south of the border. And yeah maybe the Ducks use that to their advantage like the Celtics and their wonky floor boards.

Hmmmm....South of the border?? Never heard anyone complain about the ice quality in Detroit...

Perhaps Detroit is close enough to Canada to make good ice??? lol

I am glad Pronger was suspended. I personally think it should have been more than one game though. He's a repeat offender so it should have been at least 2 games.

Detroit is already part of Canada. We just haven't gotten around to telling you guys yet. The States that actually have "WINTER" know about ice but those a little farther south ..... What it comes down to is climate. Even Canadian arenas have trouble in the summer months.
