So I've been having so much fun searching out movies that it's become a bit of a passion. I'm going to try and keep this section up to date and as educational as possible. Documentaries and Discussions from various Science/Tech Conferences. That being said, if I come across something great and fun I'll probably put it up! lol

You'll see different Embedded Video Players depending on where on the net the film is hosted. I will post all the links I can find for each film so you can choose which site you prefer and in case a source is deleted.

The Veoh.com Embeds are 5 minute Previews. You'll need to download and install the VeohTV player to see the entire video.

The Google Embeds can be double clicked for full screen. Pretty straight forward.

You'll also see MegaVideo.com occasionally. They have an annoying poker ad but it's nothing malicious.

And ofcourse Youtube. There is gold there but ya gotta dig! lol

I'd like to thank my friends at NinjaVideo.Net for helping find these links and in some cases uploading them to the net. Check them out. Their embedded video library is HUGE and growing by the day! The quality in most cases is crystal clear DivX.

FEEL FREE to leave comments and discuss the movies in the individual threads! Anyway, I hope you find some of this stuff as interesting and entertaining as I do. I'm going to leave my original posts too. History dontcha know! lol

Just some movies I have found around the net, mostly Google, that I thought you folks might enjoy. Currently they are on the small side but I am searching for a solution to that. I will post them as I find them. You need to be logged in to see this forum section.

Just so everyone knows:

To view FULL SCREEN just double click on most embedded movies.

The Google embeds are fixed size.

FYI

Stage6 is shutting down so many of the embedded videos don't work right now. I will add the links to those posts (seems the will not stream here but they can still be seen at the original site, for how long I don't know) and will embed new stuff as soon as I can.

I spent yesterday downloading the movies we already have so that I can upload them myself somewhere.

Stage6.com links have been replaced with Veoh.com links. The links lead to a 5 minute preview, VeohTV (Downloadable Viewer Application) is needed to view episodes in full. I use VeohTV myself, it's safe with no Viruses or Malware.

SOME GOOD COMPUTE HISTORY THERE.
I LOVE THE IMAX STUFF. ANY OF IT. THE BEST VISUAL EXPERIENCE THERE IS. I WISH ALL THEATRES WERE IMAX.
I MUST DIG UP THOSE DOWNLOADED IMAX MOVIES. THERES QUITE A FEW AND INCLUDING THE FULL ONE OF COSMIC VOYAGE.

HHHMM? IMDB lists Cosmic Voyage at 35 min and this one is 36:06

Zapp you know these embedded vids are previews and you can view the entire movie by downloading VeohTV, right?

I (and many other movie junkies) have been using it for quite some time and it works really well with no spyware or malware.
once you install the movies will stream on your computer and you can close your browser window. It also has some other neat features to play with as well.

I highly recommend it. :thumbsup:

Any requests folks? I've got some great resources for find movies these days.

THE VIDEOS ARE OK BUT MOST ANYTHING ELSE REQUIRES THE LATEST QUICKTIME WHICH REQUIRES SERVICE PACK 2 AND MY XP BOX DOESN'T WANT TO UPDATE. AND OF COURSE ITS WIN AND MAC ONLY.
I CHECKED OUT A NUMBER OF VIDS FROM THE WEBSITE BUT FOUND THE FULL SCREEN TO BE PRETTY GRAINY, AT LEAST THEY ARE DOWNLOADABLE THEN PLAYABLE ON YOUR CHOICE OF PLAYER
I SPENT ABOUT 4 HOURS IN THERE LAST NIGHT. THERES LOTS OF CONTENT FROM MANY SOURCES.
I LIKE THE IDEA NOW THEY JUST HAVE TO ADD LINUX SUPPORT.
