Helloooooo Mr. Gadget! I thought you would get a kick out of that! If this year goes well then maybe next year you could schedule a Family vacation to Canada? We'll start planning farther ahead for the next Shindig! Ya know, I this DOES go well, the following years might get big indeed. HHHMMMM????

Well, I'm half-Irish, and yes, u r right Timmy! I can definitely vouch that the Irish certainly know how to throw one heck of a shindig LOL :D !! I wish I could make this year's picnic but things aren't working out that way as I've explained to Timmy & Pawly - that would've been so cool to meet some of the great people here :) But if there's anything I can still do to support it, I'll do it :) Like finally finishing that Boinc Picnic game LOL Hey Ray, did u see I put 2 of those animated gifs u sent me in the Rat nest LOL - thanks and your falcon is coming along great :)

Hey Splat,

I love your rat nest. I laughed for 10 minutes when I first saw it - he he. Glad to hear that the falcon is coming along fine.

Cheers

My 5 year old daughter loved it so much too. She kept asking me "daddy, can I shoot the mouse down, please, please, please...."

I could NOT convince her that it was not a game and she even cried for a while......HELP!

You gotta help me here Splat.

Let's arm ourselves with some chunks of cheese amo to shoot at the mouse.

P.S. My daughter loves your avatar too. She asks me - "who is that mouse with the hat? Can we bring him home?"

Hi again Ray :) I'm sorry your little girl cried - but in not too long, the rat nest will be a place she can enter and explore (just by pushing the 4 keyboard arrows) and I promise to put in a nice surprise for her (send me her picture and I'll put in up on a big wall lol). The falcon is almost done - and he is behaving now after I bit him back LOL. Just adding some final touches - hopefully can get 1st draft to you by Monday or Tues - take care my friend :D !!

@ Flight - It's good to dream big my friend!

@ SplatRat - Dude, you are tireless and a great supporter!

Anyway folks, Looks like the voting is done (no new votes in a few days) And T.O. seems to be the clear winner. I will leave the voting open but shall we begin planning a little more in depth?

I like the idea of a campground, gives the option of making a day trip into an over night trip and if any BOINCers maybe party too hard then they can sleep it off.

Thoughts?

Here's one for you Splat.

Image

Most rats have poor vision, but they make up for it with the "whiskers on their snouts. They use the long hairs, also called "vibrissae," in the same way that blind people use canes. By whisking the hairs across objects the come across, rats and other rodents form mental pictures of their surroundings.

Cheers

That's great, thanks! - never thought I'd see my cousin BratRat here LOL - yeah, he's blind as a bat - but not me!!.

Hey, I've got excellent vision, my eyes are 20-20, don't know what that guy is talking about LOL! Whiskers indeed Timmy! I don't need no "mental visions" of the world around me - I'm mental enough already ;)

Ray, I'll email u later re the surprise game for Rebecca - it's half-done :) I've been so busy and we're probably gonna have to move to Sacramento . It is very hot and sunny here in Ottawa - 40C with the humidex. Rollerbladed to the dentist earlier ... about 40 minutes from here - oh, did I sweat, but it was wonderful - I love summer :) Cya !

ps if u wanna have some fun, move your cursor over my sig hehehe and see what happens !
