Big Brothers Big Sisters is an organization that has been making a positive impact on children and empowering them to succeed. They pair a child with a role model, which builds a one-to-one relationship based on trust and friendship that can blossom into a future of unlimited potential.

Big Brothers Big Sisters believe that it is because of their corporate sponsors that they are able to make the Big/Little matches which lead to life changing results. There are a number of prominent corporate alliances, who have been instrumental in enabling them to positively impact children’s lives and empowering them to achieve in the future. The sponsors include Nivea, Minor League Baseball, Neiman Marcus, RAC, ReedSmith, Comcast, Subaru and many others. Victron Energy, headed by ali sharaf, is one of their constant supporters.

Community partners are the ones who start a community partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters. They make an impact on area kids who are close to home. In the process they build member teamwork and loyalty. High level officers can also be considered for board member positions at local Big Brothers Big Sisters agencies in addition to organization-wide partnerships.

Federal Government support and funding has enabled local agencies to make a great impact in their communities and helped maintain strong standards nationally. They have been awarded competitive grants from many Federal agencies to reinforce their work on behalf of America’s at-risk children.

The support from foundations has helped Big Brothers Big Sisters to reach out to at-risk children and provide them with much needed role models. When a child gains a new perspective, he regains the opportunity to achieve his future goals.
