Once again we are going to try and push a project over 1 mil.

Voting will end in 2 weeks, which is all I will give from now on. This gives more time to ensure the project will have work.

Since I'm not yet registered at any of these projects, I'll leave my vote blank and go with the popular choice.

SETI seems to get some votes for now.

Sztaki for me. I find the latest S@H Beta wu's too long. So far they're taking anywhere from 180 to 260 odd hours. Don't know how, but one slipped through onto Andrea's rig & it's already crunched 81 hrs with over 90 to go (so far).

The latest Astropulse V5.01 wu's are weird! The one I have has already crunched for 98 hrs & showing 50% completed, but the completion time, instead of reducing is increasing. Originally, it stated 102 hrs & now showing 196 hrs. If Seti wins, then I'll only crunch them with my internal rigs & leave all external crunching Einstein.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm.....that works out at only 93 wu's (3.875x24) crunched in 31 days & = 70k approx. Oh well, at least it's for the science (I hope).

Hi guys, if Seti Beta wins the potm, I will only run it on the 3 quads & leave the others running other projects. Just completed the ap v5.01 wu on Andrea's rig. total cpu time 188 hrs, 4 hrs short of 8 days.

Thing is, Seti and uFluids dont really need to be POTM to go over 1mil, there both pretty close as it is.
Another month or two at the current RAC and they'll be there on their own.
Not to mention that the team is relatively high in ranking on those two.

SZTAKI on the other hand is in the same rank range, but is also 300k short to 1mil.
RCN however, is 600k short and low in the ranks.

Now all that being said, we had SZTAKI as POTM in July 08, uFluids in September 07 and Seti in October 08. RCN being the one who never got a POTM spot.

Just somethings to consider when casting your votes.

My 2¢ anyway.

I voted Seti HB but I'm happy with any of the four. Whatever you decide, I'll go along with smiling :)

I'm assuming that the POTM for march is S@H beta

I'll be a little slow off the mark. I nabbed a bunch of SIMAPs today. They have been coming out only at the first of the month. Hoping to get two days of solid crunching.

The quads have mainly pulled in AP's & at the moment, it looks like there is no work available. Have 2 cores sitting idle.

Edit: - All cores now crunching AP. Not going to travel up the table with these

Sorry guys, when the test machine (currently Seti beta Win 7) has finished the current batch in approx 5 days, will be taking it offline as I want to fully test Server 2008, but don't want it online. Will still have 8 cores running potm.

WELL HERE IT IS DAY 5 AND I STILL HAVEN'T FINISHED ANY WU'S AND STILL COUNTING. HALF WAY THROUGH A 240 HOUR WU AND I HAVE A 380 HOUR WU ON MY OTHER BOX. NEXT WU IS 21 HOUR.
IT LOOKS LIKE THE 9th OR 10th BEFORE I EVEN GET ON THE BOARD.
AND LOOKING AT THE BOARD I SEE THAT THERE MUST BE A NUMBER OF OTHER BIG WU'S OUT THERE.
GEE PAWLY, I DON'T THINK I'VE EVER SEEN YOU UP THAT HIGH ON THE RAC BOARD.

I have to admit I hate log wu's too. I don't crunch astropulses at all. I said "no" in my resource share and graphics long ago.

These new AP wu's are weird! Should have had the 1st 4 complete by 8am this morning. Just checked & they are now showing another 8 hrs to completion. Over at S@H, there are crunchers complaining of no AP work, yet my quads are pulling them in continuiously.

Yeah those AP wu`s are brutal!! Taking over 100+ hrs. to complete, and less than 1/2 the awarded credits on top of that. I did the same, and set my preferences to not grab anymore AP wu`s.
