Hello folks!

Last december, our team launched the "christmas race" at world community grid. With more than 100 active teams, this competition became much more successfull than we had ever thought before. Nevertheless, many teams were not able to join the race because of different reasons (ongoing matches against other teams, problems contacting an inactive team-captain and so on).

Christmas is gone and with easter ahead of us, we decided to take this opportunity and again launch a competition: the bunny race. It will take place at WCG from March 1st to March 23rd (easter monday).

You are cordially invited to join us on this competition! :)

Here is the link to the race: http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/team/ ... engeId=821

I'd be up for a little more WCG if we're all in...

I suppose we can push the March POTM back to April. Maybe start it March 24th so it gets a little bonus for having to wait? Just a thought. I will go with the consensus.

Sounds like fun though. I enjoyed our last battle with the Evil Windmill Bovines!

I like the idea of pushing back our March one to the 24th in order to facilitate another challenge on WCG. With the flexibility of the projects on WCG, there's something for everyone and it churns out pretty good too.

I had been hoping to use March to catch up on some other projects mind you, but I suppose that can wait.

It's going to take alot of extra crunching from those who have the capabilities as the challenge ends at the end of a long weekend and the WCG Canada business and institution crunchers will be shut down for 3 or 4 days. I believe this is why we lost the lead in the final hour of the Christmas race.

Anyways, any extra help at the WCG is welcome and appreciated!!

For March I'm leaning towards giving cycles to the projects I want to run such as WCG and SIMAP vs. the current POTM; though Cosmology is one of those projects.

Ok I changed the voting so it'll run until April. We can run WCG until the 23rd then use the last 8 days to catch up on other projects.

With SETI.USA in the race, it'll be alot more challenging than the Christmas race. Good luck with that!

Also a reminder, since DepSpid dosen't interfere with credits, run it as well as WCG if you are running Windows.

Any strategies discuss in the competition crunchers forum not here or in the POTM forums.

I'm in - I wanted to increase my TC for WCG anyway. Will use last 8 days to increase R@H.
