Well it is pretty well documented but often the culprit is misuse and poor maintenance.

I have one of those Dell Latitude D600 laptops with the bad battery. Infact I'm typing this post from it right now. :)

I have the replacement battery as a backup battery. I'll switch to it soon. :)
