Welcome to the Rosetta@home section of the Oh Canada forum.

The CANADA team has grown to over 800 members and ranks 4th in RAC and 8th in Total Credit of all teams.

Rosetta@home is a complicated project because in addition to solving the structure of proteins from their amino acid sequences in an effort to cure disease, we are constantly refining the Rosetta application itself which changes quite often. It makes for a very interesting and worthwhile project. The scientists also keep us informed of developments on a regular basis.

I invite you to visit the Rosetta@home Website and consider donating a few of your unused computer cycles to this worthy medical science project. Also, there are two video clips here that explain Rosetta@home and a participant's reasons for running it.
